For those of you who have not yet heard of Fig Tree Café situated in Southwoods City of Binan, you are certainly missing.
I am a big fan of cafes and diners and I have found a new one to add to my list. If you’re looking for a cozy spot to grab a bite to eat and have a “me/quite-time”, head to Fig Tree Café. It is a newly opened Café in the heart of Binan, Laguna. It has a very home-like vibe and a very welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel as though they are in a loved one’s kitchen.
The interior is Shabby chic. It has a lovely eighties vibe. Recycling old furniture and fabrics can achieve an elegant overall effect. The décors are about the cozy and comfy atmosphere, inspired by happy memories. It channels the softness of femininity, the harmony of pastel-colored and charm of old items. It’s very pretty and chic, but at the same time very welcoming and comfortable.
(My fave: Ahhhh! I want to take it home!)
Fig Tree Café seems just like an ordinary dainty feminine coffee shop, but its motivational framed Art décor, art on the walls and uplifting atmosphere makes it a standout in my book.
The Fig Tree Café is essentially what its name implies, a cozy space almost like a private room for people who wanted to get away from the chaos of every day work and busy schedules. In biblical days, students would sit under the Fig Tree to read scripture or to reflect or to pray. Sitting under a fig tree was a sign of seeking and praying for God’s living presence. The fig tree was a common place for prayer. The owners are all about creating a space that offers a (warm) break from the energy of the city, and is designed to help you sit back, relax , read scripture, reflect, and pray while you enjoy a cup of coffee. (I badly need that!) So Relaxing! It’s located beside the road so expect that the place will be a little crowded.
(My comfort food!)
The menu has something for everyone. Their drinks are delicious. Their food options are yummy too.
Their wait staff are very helpful and friendly – they will give you a big welcoming greeting as soon as you walk in/out of the shop.
Besides indulging in their delicious coffee, sandwiches, pastries, and dishes, Fig Tree Café is also a great place to hang out with friends, read a book, or even just relax after a long day at work.
This is their newly opened Southwoods branch. They have their main branch in Susana.
